I will say this， whilst I wouldnt say it blew me away， it was a very satisfactory ending and my god I have read some stinkers over the years。

Best book in the series after the first one， with a reasonably satisfying payoff for such a long series。 Highly recommend The Expanse， an enjoyable romp which executes the “super advanced aliens faced an existential threat， lost， and now humanity must deal with it” troupe very well。 The 9 books and handful of novellas are very light reading， and I’ve enjoyed using them to take a breather between heavier titles。
